Thankful Thursday

I sat in a debate this afternoon on “Evil, Morality, and God” at Acadia between the head of the philosophy department and a divinity student. There was a huge turn out; better than the organizers had expected. The whole room filled, then people were sitting in the aisles, and on the floor at the front. It was a great turn out. I sat through the talks but it was over my head.

I am thankful for the people who understand the issues and can articulate strong responses in these types of discussions. I couldn’t but someone needs to. Other things that had me thanking God this week were creative ideas, two meals out this week, a chance to talk with Maki tonight and maybe seeing her at the end of the month, fruit, and really good books.
