4) Learned to snowboard. Kelly and Gina took me on the 12th. They were amazingly patient with me. I love those girls!
10) I wanted to make a snowman snowman with my sister. Instead we must go with the cookie snowman we made at Christmas because the last few times I’ve seen my sister the snow hasn’t been packable and/or there has no snow. I made a real snowman a few weeks back for an object lesson; his name is Oatmeal (if you don't understand watch Frosty the Snowman agian).

Bonsai Principle #5: Aim for predictability
Bonsai believers look and act within a known guideline. They know the Christianize and the right actions. The growth is predictable. It is controlled for specific known results. The finished product has an appearance of a strong Christian whose weathered life’s struggles. All package nicely with a simple seven-step plan that you too can follow for the same results. The outside looks alive and growing but the inside is dead.
"The goal should be not to make everyone look and act like each other but to help us all become more like Christ. We can be Christlike whether we are dressed in a suit and tie, buckskin and fathers, or black leather and pikes. It has little to do with our style and almost everything to do with our heart and the freedom we give the creative hand of God to work in our lives."
Following Jesus is unpredictable. Our journeys are different, the struggles are personal, the joy are unique. It fits with the person God made us to be, which is beyond anything we could ever imagine. Yay for God, who is bigger then my ideas and plans and who desires for me to be more than just another cookie-cutter, dye-lot, bonsai believer.

Books are not the answer.
Monday, February 19, 2007
There are times when the day has been fine and nothing is wrong but it just doesn’t feel right. The feeling might last a moment or a whole season. People around you pick up on it, they can tell something is "off" and ask what’s the matter. Truth is nothing. Absolutely nothing is wrong. The answer is fine yet to give it sounds like a lie or your hiding something. But the reality is this feeling is nameless. What is that?

A chance to feed the dolphins @ Sea World
Give Kids the World was an amazing part of the week.
We could have spent the entire week there and not been bored. Lee-Ann’s favourite activity was the mini golf. She developed quiet a swing.
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
Lee-Ann thought this was a great ride…because the adult with her got very wet.
(Not sure if you can see the water spray)

Lee-Ann’s highlights were meeting all the Disney princesses, especially Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) because that is her favourite. And going to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Downtown Disney where she was transformed by her “Fairy Godmother” into Aurora. Since a picture is worth a thousand words below are three-thousand from that happy day.

Last week was amazing. There are not enough words to express all that we saw and did. DisneyWorld was all it should be –full of wonder, dreams and joy. It was the first for our family. “It was all so magical!” Yet for me next to seeing my family the highlight was the village we were housed at. It’s called Give Kids the World and it beyond wonderful.
It was open from 7:30 am till 9 pm everyday serving free ice cream (donated by Friendlys). I denfently had Ice Cream for breakfast.
There is also the Gingerbread House which is the dining hall and provided both breakfast and supper. The food was wonderful (donated by Perkins). I learned to love breakfast!
If you look close at the picture Lee-Ann is wearing a Thing 1 shirt from Cat in the Hat. Dad has Thing 3, Mom has Thing 4 and I have Thing 2.
It’s Snowing!!! in Florida?!?
Every night GKTW has a different celebration. One night was a Candyland theme, and another was a Prince and Pirate Party. One time it was a surprise birthday party for Clayton. This night was Christmas Eve. There were carols sung, dancing Christmas trees and elves. There was cookie decorating and games. Santa even visited all the way from the North Pole and gave out gifts.
