Food Friday: Cookie Exchange Troubles

Cookies are wonderful. Christmas cookies take bake goods to that next level of joy. The trouble is finding the time, energy, and ingredients to make anything more than Pillsbury cookies. Kim has invited me to a cookie exchange. There will be about 8 other ladies each making three dozen cookies. I know that someone is bringing shortbread, sugar cookies, and peanut butter balls. I'd love to go but not sure what to make. Any suggestions of simple cookie recipes I could try?

First off that's a lot of cookies. I've always liked snikerdoodles, and not just becuase of the name. Chocolate chips are easy too and there's a million cations on those so you can be creative. Raisin filled cookies arn't too hard and their really good. Can you tell that I love cookie? I love cookies...
