Outside my window....green hills (its almost always the same green hills that won't change till the fall).

I am thinking...about all the things I wanted to share this summer on the blog that just hasn't happened. I miss daily/weekly posting. Also thinking about a knitting pattern.


I am thankful for...my summer student. He's been a great help this year!

I am wearing...flip flops, a black skirt, and black and white flower printed blouse.

I am creating...fingerless gloves.

I am going...to a corn boil.

I am wondering...if it's too late to post things from a few weeks ago.

I am reading...Scott Pilgrim vs The Universe.

I am hoping...to find someone to translate a confusing part of the pattern I'm working on and a solution to a craft problem.

I am looking forward to...seeing my Jenn and playing Battlestar Galatica (board game) this week.

I am hearing...Richard (aka summer student/the minion).

Around the house...I'm having trouble with the bathtub drain. I know it needs to be cleaned out but I can't get the plug device out to do the cleaning. It is very frustrating (advice is appreciated).

One of my favorite things...BBQs.

A few plans for the rest of the week:..corn boil and bapsisms today, NaNoWriMo planning tomorrow, Battlestar Galatica tomorrow night, AWESOME friend visit in the city Tuesday, and for the rest of the week I am not to sure.
