Disney Days Four & Five: Animal Kingdom
We spent Monday and Tuesday at Disney's Animal Kingdom full of "lion and tigers and bears, oh my!" Actually, I don't remember seeing a bear, so it was more lions and tigers and bugs, oh and don't forget the yeti. There were also dinosaurs, a great roller coaster (Expedition Everest), and the families favourite show "Finding Nemo The Musical". It was two great days, and since the park closed earlier it was two of our most laid back days.
If you going to Disney this park is impressive. First, there was seeing all the different animals. Information from the Disney World site they say it is "home to more than 1,700 animals from 250 species and sprawling across 500 acres of lush landscape, Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is the largest animal-themed park in the world!" And second was the Tree of Life which is "a swirling tapestry of 325 animals carved into the bark of this massive attraction." With creatures like Galapagos tortoises, lemurs, sharks and tarmarins.
Lee-Ann's Top Five Things:
1) Everest Expedition
2) Finding Nemo The Musical
3) Kaili River Rapids
4) Kilimanjaro Safari
5) Seeing the animal (Pangani Forest Exploration Trail & Maharajah Jungle Trek) her only sadness was there were no platypus.
My Top Five Things:
1) Everest Expedition
2) Finding Nemo The Musical
3) Kaili River Rapids
4) Kilimanjaro Safari
5) Flight of Wonders (bird show)
