Sunday Scribbles: Jan 26

I did art!

They were all fun to make. I finished three today but did work on three through out the week. I like having regular drawing moments in my week. Art for it's own sake is good. These aren't masterpieces. I am almost okay with that.

It was the experience that mattered. I would like my sketches to look more like the image in my head but I think that comes with time. The "draw the statue these tourist are looking at" was the most challenging to get started.  I had to look up pictures of fountains because nothing was working but once I did it turned out really well. I was inspired by my game con friend, Kate, for the picture. In the end it was my favourite.

These two were the most fun to do. Making a page of leaves was relaxing. I would have rather done a colour wheel in paint. I don't think the paper would have handled the watercolours. Maybe I should paint one.
These were the most rushed. I started both an hour ago. The shoe turned out very well. For the thing hiding in the bush I am a bit disappointed. I really don't know how to draw tigers.
