July Daily Writing Warm-Up #20

This past weekend some of my writing group got together for a hike. It was quiet the wilderness adventure. Duane commented, after we had to create our trail, that "this gives a new appreciation for the early settlers had to do to get anywhere."
That comment and adventure is today's inspiration. Spend ten minutes describing a "new world." You could write about the "new world" settlers found or make it personal to your characters. It could be a new location for your characters, for example a new town, school, or job. Or maybe you enjoy creating your own worlds, that works too. Have fun!
