Day 3: All A Board

We're on a boat!

On seeing the Princess Grand for the first time, Mum said, "that can not be called a boat." It is true, the ship is bigger than we imagined and beautiful. But lets step back to the start of the day.

The feeling of excitement was almost papillae as we waited at the hotel for a taxi to take us to the pier. Honestly, it was excitement mixed with nerves. There were so many questions and unknowns. Everything from when can we board to what do we do with our luggage. Once we were there everything was smooth and people were very helpful. We even saw out luggage being loaded as we boarded.

After checking out our cabins we explored the ship.

Before heading up top decks to say farewell to San Francisco. The sun and the wind did not cooperate for my desired photo ops.

It was awesome to have people actually waving at us from the bridge.

With that we were northern bound.

After that we headed to our rooms to unpack and get oriented with the ship. We dinned together. Then sister and I went to one of the pools. We ended up watching a movie under the stars in the hot tube. It was grand.
