More Questions
These are a few more of the questions my youth group are asking:
1) Why can't we see angles?
2) Why don't people live longer, like in Genesis?
3) Does God forgive all sins, even the worst ones, if the person shows remorse?
4) If someone has led an evil life but prays on their death bed, will God forgive them?

I'm sure there are a variety of answers to the 2nd question. I'm a young earth creationist and believe people lived longer back then b/c they were, in a matter of speaking, more highly evolved than we are. What I mean is, humanity is deteriorating with time. Mutations are piling up and medicines are more and more necessary to keep us alive. I think the longer life spans had a lot to do with general health, environmental differences before and around the time of the flood, and perhaps simply God's will.
Third question? Seems to me He does. Much of the Bible was written by ex-murderers.
Fourth? Seems to me He does (thief on the cross). But that is the only example. I heard a quote once that went something like this. "there is 1 example, so we need not despair, but there is ONLY 1 example, so we must not wait"
The angel comment made smile, pretty sure I’m not going to tell them I’m an angel but the other two ideas are great. I was only thinking that they are spiritual, but the angel unaware would really add. For the rest of the questions I am glad to hear I'm not off base in my preparations or maybe we are both wrong? Which ever the case thanks for the comment Matthew.
