Welcome to the second week of the August prompts.
Time: 5 min
What if is an exercise to help you brainstorm possible plot, conflict or twists. Today's situation moving. Set a timer for 5 minutes and write as many what if statements as possible.
Each "what if" can be stand alone idea or you can link each "what if" sentence to the previous statement. Here's a few examples:
What if your main character is evicted?
What if he doesn't want to move?
What if she doesn't have any help?
If you've enjoyed today's inspiration consider signing up for the August Daily Writing Warm-Up Challenge and share the prompts with anyone you think would be interested.
