Ruth Translation: 1:7 to 1:9
Welcome to back to the next in section of the Translation Project. In yesterday's passage Naomi's sons had found Moabite wives. Their short sojourn to Moab had turned into a ten year stay. Naomi's sons also died. This is when she heard that God had provided food for his people. Today we are going to see how she responded in Ruth 1:7-9.
Ruth 1:7
And so she went out from the place se was with her two daughters-in-law. And they walked on the way returning to the land of Judah.
Ruth 1:8
And then Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, "Go, return, each one to the house of her mother. May the Lord show you faithful-loving-kindness as you have shown to your dead and to me.
Ruth 1:9
May the Lord give to you that you may find rest each on you in the house of her husband." And she kissed them as they lifted their voice and they wept.
