Ruth Translation: 3:15-3:18

Hello Friends and Faithful Readers,

Today's section not only wraps up Ruth and Boaz's encounter, it finishes chapter three. After today there are only twenty-two verses left to translate! 

Ruth 3:15

And he said, "Bring the cloak that is upon you and hold it out." And so she held it out.

And he measured six measures of barley and he set it upon her. And then he went to the city.

Ruth 3:16

And she came to her mother-in-law, and she [Naomi] said, "Who are you, my daughter?"

And she [Ruth] told her all which the man had done for her.

Ruth 3:17

Then she said, "The gave me these six measures of barley, for he said to me, 'do not go empty to your mother-in-law.'"

Ruth 3:18

Then she said, "Dwell here my daughter until you know how this matter turns out. For the man will not rest until he has completed the matter today."
