Thankful Thursday -Justine

I am thankful for...
AuroraLee a.ka. Justine

Justine is one of my wonderful writing friends. She is a fellow Wolfville Wrimo and an original Best Word buddy. I first knew Justine as "Cprav" the first year I was a volunteer (Municipal Liaison or ML) for National Novel Writing Month. I've enjoyed how our acquaintance has moved from forums to friendship. We click; we both like sci-fi and fantasy shows, books, movies. We're both thinking about doing dragon themed novels. So, really, we're both just girl-geeks, so much so that we are going to Hal-Con together (squeeee HAL CON!).

More that just those fun things Justine is witty, creative, and caring. I love talking with her because of her insightful. She is also motivated, dedicated, and passionate. She is so supportive of the writing group and everything NaNo related. She has great knowledge and skills in areas I'm not good in (I'm a luddite) and is very willing share with me. I am so very grateful to know Justine and count her as a friend. And those are a few of the reason I am thankful for her....and that I love her writing!

Announcements Unrelated to Thankful Thursday (but important to me):
1. Best Friend will be here tomorrow -I can't wait for a real hug!
2. National Novel Writing Month is just 18 days away. This could be the year you write your novel it's not to late to sign up.
3. I found a picture of Colette Van Meekeren today that I liked so I added it to the Thankful Thursday article dedicated to her and fixed up the prose. Re-read it here.

Aw, thanks Liz! I'm Thankful for you too and always enjoy our (too few/short) chats!

(and on an unrelated note, visiting your blog always makes me hungry... I don't know why...)

Hungry? Me too.
I feel exactly the same way when I'm here - and whenever I look at that delicious-looking bowl of stew.
I don't even like stew!

Should her readers petition Liz to insert a recipe below the picture?

Please Liz. Pretty please?

I don't have a great recipe; but I'll see what I can do.
