30 Days of Hair -Day 11: Side Braid with a Hair Wrap in Back

I found this the easiest style to recreate so far, I was using another tutorial by Kayley Melissa, 3 Quick Braided Hairstyles for 2015! I was using the third look that she called a braid updo. Mine does not look as refined as hers.

I am starting to think that all my extra length is hindering my improving in hairstyling. If I leave my hair down it lands near my waist band. It means more hair to wrap and hide and it is heavier. Even with creating curls.  The new products did help and the curling lasted a bit longer but were gone almost by lunch time. The weight of the longer hair might just be too much. Is it time for a massive haircut?
