Day 9: The Adventure Begins...
It was back to Universal today to explore their other park "Adventure Island". It was excellent! We rode Hulk Coaster first followed by two turns on the Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man. It is a neat 3D ride that is one of my favourites.
Next we walked through Toon Lagoon were three of us took a wet and wild ride on Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. We were drenched so decided the next adventure should be the Jurassic Park River Adventure.
From there we entered the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We feasted at The Three Broomsticks, took on two different "dragons" (coasters) for the "Triwizard Challenge", rode the Hippogriff, and join Harry Potter on the Forbidden Journey.
Next we strolled through Seuss Landing, which had been sister's favourite on our earlier visit. She and her friend had a nostalgic ride on One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Then we took another ride on the Hulk before trying Doctor Doom's Fearfall.
With the Island well explored we returned to the Studios side to ride the Rip Ride Rockit and two more runs of the Mummy Coaster. And just before the line closed we made it for a 40 min wait and a final jounrey on the Rockit. It is a ridiculously scary ride with a start that feels like it is start up after surviving that it is awesome with added bonus of your choice of music being the rides soundtrack.
Daily Steps: 20,808 that's approximately 16km or 10 miles!
