Survivor Nicaragua: Oct 20

Last Week's Recap:
I've decided not to give a play by play of last week's episode. There are enough bloggers doing that and if your really interested you could find the show online. If you do want to read a good recap I've been enjoy Jeff Probst's commentary on game and the Global TV's blog is good.

Biggest event last week was the swapping of players, teams are no longer young vs. old. The new Espada is NaOnka, Benry, Chase, Alina, Holly, Yve, Dan and Tyrone. The new La Flor Jill, Jane, Marty, Jud, Kelly B., Sash, Kelly S. and Brenda.

Espada won the first reward challenge earning themselves two chickens and a rooster. However the couldn't keep the winning streak going for the immunity challenge.

painted a target on his back by ruffing the new arrivals feathers with tribal protocol, objecting to the cooking of the chicken "it would be better for eggs" but then taking a larger portion of the meat. With a vote of 6 to 2 Tyrone was the fifth person voted out with 15 castaways remaining:

My Thoughts
1) NaOnka is a meanie and a wimp. I was shocked when she was seriously talking about quitting, which would be almost sad because she makes the show interesting. I really can't believe she says half of what she does.
2) So glad the "Medallion of Power"gone. Made the challenges too easy to predict.
3) The previews for tonight's episode were "Dan talks about quitting too. Marty admits his is a grandmaster of chess. Probst opens a Challenge by announcing that Individual Immunity is on the line".
4) Marty was stirring things up with his new tribe. A few talked about wanting him gone. At this point a statement like "I'm a grandmaster of chess" is as good as survivor suicide.

Predictions for Oct 20:
This all comes down to who wins the individual immunity.

From La Flor I think Marty is in danger because of his mouth but could be safe this week if he uses his hidden immunity idol. Jill is also in trouble -guilty by association. One of these two will go home.

From Espada I think, if Danny doesn't quit he'll be on the block. Yve is also it trouble because she doesn't have a strong alliance and last week she voted against the tribe.

If you want to catch up on Survivor you can find episodes at (for Canadians) or CBS has all things Survivor for US fans.
