The Gilmore Girl Reading Challenge 2011
Lisa is continuing the The Gilmore Girl Reading Challenge for 2011. She explained last year that, "Books played a big part in the television show 'The Gilmore Girls.' Rory was an avid reader. When Rory and Lorelai were going to Europe, Rory wanted to bring 12 books...a friend sent me a link to an episode-by-episode listing of all of the books seen, read, or mentioned in the series and the idea for a challenge was born."
The requirements for each level have been modified for 2011 and there is a new twist: for the Emily level, you can substitute one movie adaptation of any book. For the Lorelei level, you can substitute two movies and for the Rory level you can substitute four movies. If you are interested in participating check out the Gilmore Reading List.
Emily: Read a total of four books from at least two different categories.
Lorelei: Read a total of six books from at least three different categories.
Rory: Read a total of ten books from at least three different categories.
My goal is Rory level. So far I have read 1/10
