January's Reading Challenge Review
This has been a good reading month. January normally is but I exceeded my expectations and my monthly average (7 books) and read 12 books. I finished three great non-fictions last night On Writing, Weird and Erasing Hell. I think I'll re-read On Writing in a few months, it was fun and insightful and there were a few sections I wanted to share with my writing group. The other two have filled my head. I tried to journal most of it but my mind is still swimming. I probably should write up a review. Weird was convicting in a positive way. Erasing Hell was a dark and challenging read but still good.
Other great reads this month were The Hunger Games and The Actor and the Housewife. I also enjoyed Goliath but more because it was a fair way to end the trilogy but it felt like something was missing, still a good book. Yay for good books!
