Day Ten's Inspiration: Valkyrie

My favourite thing about this look is the braid on top; it's a faux hawk Dutch braid. This was my fourth or fifth attempt and the most successful. It still isn't quite how I hoped it would look. I think my hair might be too fine to hold the braid.

My second favourite part of the look is how well the gold blended with the blue. It is clear to see on the picture below. Please forgive that is is blurry and out of focus. The only disappointing thing was that I didn't notice that the left flash eyelash had come unattached till after the pictures had been taken and the makeup was cleaned up.
