52,495 Words Later...

Over the past 30 days I have watched my blue profile bar gradually grow, till this beautiful day when it went blue to green to purple with victory.


I have successful finished the NaNoWriMo challenge of writing a novel (of 50,000 words) in 30 days and will never do something so crazy (till next November).

I am now off to celebrate, sleep, do laundry and all the other house work I’ve ignored this month, drink a chai latte and enjoy a slice of cheesecake or…pie (mmm pie), not necessarily in that order.

Thanks everyone! Words do not express how thrilled I am to be done. I loved the challenge but I am glad it is done. To celebrate Gina, Amy, and I went bowling and then I bought a whole pie...yum!

Sarah, right now the story is a very rough shape. I'm going to let it sit a month or two before trying to edit it (I feel I am too close to the story to be fair) but after that I am willing to let people who are interested read it. Would you want to read it?
